How to Use a USB Transmitter on TV?

In this article, we will give you a better understanding of what USB Bluetooth transmitters are and guide you on how to use them correctly on your TV.

How does a Bluetooth transmitter work?
A Bluetooth transmitter is a device that takes the audio signal from a source such as a TV and transmits it wirelessly to your headphones or speakers. All you need to do is connect the transmitter to the audio output of your TV, then pair compatible headphones with the transmitter, and you can start enjoying your TV shows!

How to use the USB transmitter?
1) Case 1: If your TV has a USB port and the USB port supports audio output.
a. Plug the USB transmitter into the USB port of the TV and turn on the TV headset;
b. Some TVs may need to be set up for audio, and adjust the TV audio to "USB";
c. You will be able to hear the sound.

2) Case 2: If your TV has a USB port, but the USB port does not support audio output.
a. Plug the USB transmitter into the USB port of the TV for power;
b. Then choose an audio cable to connect the USB transmitter to other audio output ports on the TV (3.5mmAUX/RCA/Optical, etc.)
c. Turn on the headphones and make the TV settings accordingly;
d. You will be able to hear the sound.

3) Case 3: If your TV does not have a USB port.
a. Plug the USB transmitter into a USB power adapter to get power;
b. Then choose an audio cable to connect the USB transmitter to other audio output ports on the TV (3.5mmAUX/RCA/Optical, etc.)
c. Turn on the headphones and set up the TV accordingly;
d. You will be able to hear the sound.

Will the transmitter interfere with other devices via Bluetooth?
One of the issues with some transmitters is that they may cross signals with other Bluetooth devices and lose the signal or if they are too close to a physical obstacle such as a wall, the signal transmission is affected. For example, the USB ports on a TV are usually on the back or side of the TV, which may cause the signal to be unstable. But if you have a USB extension cable, you will be able to easily solve this problem.

USB Audio transmitters are a lifesaver for both modern-day and older technology. You’re sure to enjoy this invention that makes it easier than ever to get great sound quality from any equipment you own.
